Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and results-driven OPT Recruiter to identify, source, screen, and recruit IT candidates who are on F-1 OPT or STEM OPT. The recruiter will work closely with bench sales teams, account managers, and hiring managers to find qualified candidates for contract and full-time IT opportunities.

The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, knowledge of IT technologies, and the ability to source candidates through job portals, LinkedIn, and other recruitment platforms.

Key Responsibilities

- Source IT candidates on F-1 OPT and STEM OPT using job portals, LinkedIn, Indeed, Dice, and other recruitment platforms.
- Identify candidates with relevant technical skills and experience for available IT positions.
- Screen resumes and conduct initial phone interviews to assess candidates’ qualifications, communication skills, and job preferences.
- Maintain and update candidate databases, resumes, and recruitment trackers.
- Coordinate with bench sales recruiters and account managers to match candidates with suitable job openings.
- Assist candidates with resume formatting and preparation for interviews.
- Schedule interviews and follow up with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
- Build and maintain relationships with candidates for future job opportunities.
- Track candidate submissions, interviews, placements,



and follow-up activities.
- Verify candidate information and work authorization documentation through appropriate, lawful procedures.

Required Skills

- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic understanding of IT technologies such as Java, .NET, Python, QA, DevOps, Data Analytics, AWS, and ServiceNow.
- Familiarity with LinkedIn, Dice, Indeed, and other job portals.
- Ability to identify suitable candidates based on job descriptions.
- Strong sourcing, screening, follow-up, and organizational skills.
- Basic knowledge of F-1 OPT and STEM OPT employment requirements.
- Ability to work in a rapid-paced IT staffing environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- Previous experience in IT recruitment, staffing, or talent acquisition.
- Experience recruiting OPT and STEM OPT candidates.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and candidate management tools.
- Ability to meet recruitment targets and manage multiple positions simultaneously.

- Consistently source qualified candidates for open positions.
- Maintain accurate candidate records and timely follow-ups.
- Coordinate efficiently with internal recruitment and sales teams.
- Help improve candidate engagement, interview scheduling, and placement outcomes.
