Our client is a specialist marine logistics provider, managing the spare parts supply chain for more than 10,000 vessels worldwide. They operate 4PL control towers across Europe, Asia, the Middle East and the Americas, moving time-critical spares from supplier to vessel deck for many of the world’s largest ship managers and owners, backed by a global 3PL logistics network.

The role: run our client’s Mumbai marine ship spares control tower, a growing team of more than 15 operators moving time-critical spares for ship managers and vessel owners. Their 3PL partners execute; our client orchestrates.

Must have:

- Proven people leader. 10+ years in logistics, with at least 3 years leading a team of 10 or more and full accountability for recruitment, performance management, KPIs and separations.




- A role model who leads from the front line. We need someone hands-on, who sets direction and owns escalations, not another escalation layer. Someone who still picks up the file personally and drives it to closure.
- Marine spare parts logistics experience. Pharma or aerospace logistics helps with sense of urgency but is not a substitute.
- Client-centric control tower experience. Hands-on exposure to running a managed supply chain end-end on behalf of clients – client centric mindset, not just executing shipments, ideally gained from leading a 3PL airfreight customer service team.
