Job Title: Planning Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Scheduling:
- a) Identify items for fabrication in other work centers and prepare a scope matrix.
- b) Develop an overall project execution plan in Concerto, detailing the sequence and duration of activities across Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, Machining, Welding Engineering, Inspection, NDT, and Auxiliary Services.
- c) Allocate resources and assign task managers.
- d) Define milestones and incorporate project buffers.
- e) Conduct project pipelining and obtain PMG-2 approval for the System Due Date (SDD).
- f) Prepare a monthly shop & contractor load plan.
- g) Conduct fortnightly project review meetings.

- Process Planning:

- a)



Decide and release the sub-contracting plan during the Manufacturing Kick-off Meeting (M-KOM).
- b) Identify jigs, fixtures, special furnaces, resources, and mock-up trials.
- c) Determine the improvement budget at the Kick-off Meeting (KOM).
- d) Identify and issue necessary procedures for manufacturing.
- e) Prepare and release cutting instructions for plate items.
- f) Maintain outbound material records for non-plate items.
- g) Prepare heat treatment requests and release them after approval.
- h) Ensure full-kit availability for tasks.
