- Evaluating whether the local supplier can meet drawing, specification and quality requirements.
- Supplier APQP, PFMEA, Control Plan and PPAP.
- Conducting supplier audits and process audits.
- Supporting prototype, trial and validation of locally developed parts.
- Checking dimensional, functional and performance requirements.
- Handling Handling quality issues during localisation and driving corrective actions.
- Getting PPAP approval / customer approval before SOP.
- Ensuring the localised component achieves the required quality, cost and delivery standards.
