Responsibilities

- Provide specialized nursing care to neonates in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), ensuring high standards of patient care and safety.
- Monitor vital signs and maintain accurate clinical documentation for each infant, ensuring compliance with medical protocols and guidelines.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare team, observing for any adverse reactions and reporting them promptly.
- Perform neonatal resuscitation and provide emergency support as required, demonstrating proficiency in life-saving techniques.
- Educate and support parents, offering guidance on infant care techniques and addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
- Implement and adhere to strict infection control measures to prevent the spread of infections within the NICU.




- Provide specialized care to preterm infants, adapting care plans to meet their unique needs and promoting optimal development.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and modify individualized care plans for neonates, ensuring a holistic approach to patient care.
