Work on the core physics of a next-generation sodium-cooled nuclear reactor.
? Neutron transport & reactor physics modelling
? Monte Carlo & deterministic core calculations
? Shielding analysis
? Integrated core design with thermal-hydraulics & mechanical teams
Looking for: Robust computational physics fundamentals + hands-on experience with OpenMC, Serpent or MCNP.
⭐ Experience in fast/sodium-cooled reactor design, SCALE, ERANOS or DIF3D is a plus.
? Researchers & PhDs from HBNI, IGCAR, BARC, NPCIL, IIT Kanpur, DU and international labs are welcome.
