Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Network Engineer with 3 years of experience in network operations, routing, switching, troubleshooting, and network infrastructure support. The candidate should have positive knowledge of routing protocols such as BGP, IGRP, OSPF, and EIGRP, along with hands-on experience in configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting network devices.

Roles and Responsibilities

- Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot routers, switches, and other network devices.

- Work with routing protocols such as BGP, IGRP, OSPF, and EIGRP.

- Understand BGP concepts, including eBGP, iBGP, neighbor relationships, route advertisements, and route selection.

- Troubleshoot routing issues related to reachability, routing tables, and route convergence.

- Understand IGRP concepts, including distance-vector routing, hop count, bandwidth, delay, and composite metrics.

- Configure and troubleshoot VLANs, trunking, inter-VLAN routing, and access control lists (ACLs).

- Perform network connectivity troubleshooting using ping, traceroute, and other diagnostic tools.

- Monitor network performance and resolve routing and connectivity issues.

- Support network changes, configuration backups, and routine maintenance activities.





- Analyze routing tables and verify correct route propagation across the network.

- Work with TCP/IP, subnetting, IPv4, IPv6, and default gateway configurations.

- Coordinate with internal teams to resolve network incidents and maintain network availability.

- Prepare network documentation, incident reports, and configuration records.

Technical Skills

- Routing Protocols: BGP, IGRP, OSPF, EIGRP, and static routing.

- Switching: VLANs, trunking, STP, and inter-VLAN routing.

- Networking Fundamentals: TCP/IP, subnetting, IPv4, IPv6, and ARP.

- Network Troubleshooting: Ping, traceroute, routing table analysis, and packet analysis.

- Network Devices: Cisco routers and switches.

- Security: ACLs and basic network access control.

- Monitoring: Network device health, interface status, and routing connectivity.

Educational Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field.

- CCNA certification is preferred.

Experience Requirements

- 3 years of experience in networking, routing, switching, and network troubleshooting.

- Practical understanding of routing protocol configuration and troubleshooting.

- Experience supporting enterprise network infrastructure and resolving network incidents.
