PRIMARY SKILLSETS:

Experience in Ontology, Semantic Modeling, Knowledge Representation, Taxonomy, or related data disciplines.

Strong understanding of ontology development, taxonomy, controlled vocabularies, metadata, and semantic modeling.

Experience with RDF, OWL, SPARQL, and knowledge representation concepts.

Robust understanding of entities, relationships, concepts, properties, classes, hierarchies, and semantic relationships.

Experience developing or managing enterprise/domain ontologies and semantic models.

Experience with data modeling, data integration, and interoperability concepts.

Strong understanding of knowledge graphs and semantic data architectures.

Ability to work with business SMEs to capture and formalize domain knowledge.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.

AI / GenAI Skills:

Understanding of how ontologies and knowledge graphs support AI and GenAI solutions.

Experience supporting RAG, semantic search, knowledge retrieval, and AI-agent architectures.

Understanding of ontology-driven contextualization of LLMs.





Experience integrating structured semantic knowledge with unstructured enterprise content.

Knowledge of AI knowledge representation, entity resolution, semantic similarity, and contextual retrieval.

Understanding of AI governance, data quality, provenance, and explainability is desirable.

Good-to-Have Skills:

Experience with ontology / knowledge graph tools such as Protg, TopBraid, Stardog, Neo4j, GraphDB, or similar platforms.

Experience with SHACL and ontology validation.

Experience with enterprise metadata and data catalog platforms.

Experience in Life Sciences / Healthcare ontology standards such as SNOMED CT, UMLS, MeSH, RxNorm, ICD, LOINC, or FHIR terminology.

Experience developing ontologies for pharma, healthcare, clinical, medical, regulatory, or commercial domains.

Knowledge of FAIR data principles and semantic interoperability.

Experience working on large-scale data modernization, knowledge management, or AI transformation programs.
