Role & responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspection and monitoring of the Fire Pump House, Fire Extinguishers, Fire Hydrants and Hose Reels across the plant to ensure full operational readiness.
- Identify and report unsafe acts and unsafe conditions on the production floor, and drive timely closure of corrective actions.
- Monitor and administer the Work Permit System (Hot Work, Cold Work, Confined Space, Height, etc.) to ensure secure execution of all plant activities.
- Maintain and update all safety-related documentation and formats as per the defined SOPs.
- Carry out periodic safety audits/rounds of fire safety equipment and permit records to ensure compliance with statutory and company safety standards.
