NABL OFFICER / QUALITY MANAGER – NABL Department: Quality / Laboratory – Minerals Testing / Chemical / Calibration.

Location: Bicholim - Goa

Key Responsibilities:

To manage, implement and maintain the Laboratory Quality Management System as per ISO/IEC 17025:2017 and ensure NABL accreditation, compliance, audits and continuous improvement of the laboratory.

NABL Accreditation & Documentation Complete responsibility for implementation of ISO/IEC 17025:2017 in the lab. Preparation, control & updating of Quality Manual, SOPs, Work Instructions, Formats, Quality System Procedures. Preparation of application for NABL – Fresh accreditation, Renewal, Extension of Scope, Additional Facility.

Handling NABL Portal – Fee payment, Application submission, Updating organization details, Uploading documents Internal Audit & Management Review. Planning and conducting Internal Audits as per schedule and closing NCs.

- Conducting Management Review Meetings (MRM) and maintaining minutes.
- Conducting Risk Assessment & Opportunity, SWOT Analysis for lab.C. Audit Handling:
- Handling NABL Assessment – Desktop Audit, Onsite Assessment, Verification Audit, Surveillance Audit.
- Preparation of Corrective Action & Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for NCs raised by NABL assessors.
- Coordination with Assessors, NABL Officials, Consultants. Quality Control & Technical Compliance:
- Monitoring of Proficiency Testing (PT) / Inter-Laboratory Comparison (ILC) planning and performance analysis.
- Monitoring Equipment Calibration – Internal & External calibration planning, Traceability,



and Uncertainty Measurement.
- Monitoring Environmental Monitoring, Intermediate Checks, Quality Control Charts.
- Ensuring Method Validation / Verification as per NABL 163.
- Maintaining Master List of Equipment, Methods, Standards, and Chemicals. Training & Improvement:

- Provide training to lab staff on ISO/IEC 17025, Document Control, Uncertainty, Method
- Validation, Internal Audit, and Positive Laboratory Practices.

Ensure all staff are competent and maintaining competency records, training records, authorization matrix.

Handling Customer Complaints, Feedback, Non-Conforming Work, Corrective Actions.

Desired Candidate Profile: Qualification: M.Sc. / B.Tech / M.Tech in [Chemistry / Microbiology / Biotechnology / Food Technology / Biochemistry]

Experience: 15 Years of experience as NABL Officer / Quality Manager in an NABL Accredited Laboratory (Food Testing / Chemical Testing / Calibration / Biological).

Mandatory Skills: Thorough knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025:2017, NABL Specific Criteria (103, 102, 163), NABL Portal.

Experience in handling NABL audits independently and successfully achieving accreditation. Knowledge of Method Validation, Uncertainty of Measurement (MU), Traceability, PT/ILC. Good documentation, communication & presentation skills.

Certified Internal

Auditor for ISO/IEC 17025 will be added advantage.4.
