Role Description The MRI Technologist is a full time, on-site role based in Gorakhpur, responsible for performing high-quality MRI scans in a safe and patient-centered manner. Daily responsibilities include preparing patients for MRI procedures, explaining the process, screening for contraindications, and positioning patients to obtain accurate images. The role involves operating MRI equipment, selecting appropriate imaging protocols, monitoring image quality, and collaborating with radiologists and other clinicians to support diagnostic decisions.

The MRI Technologist will maintain equipment and work areas, follow radiation safety and infection control standards, and ensure proper documentation and record-keeping.



This role also includes assisting in scheduling, managing workflow, and supporting continuous quality improvement within the imaging department.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess professional certification or eligibility with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent recognized radiologic registration.
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Radiologic Technology, including patient positioning, protocol selection, and safe operation of MRI equipment.
- Candidates should possess a solid foundation in Radiology and Medicine, enabling effective collaboration with clinicians and understanding of diagnostic requirements.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Medical Imaging, with specific experience in MRI procedures, image evaluation, and quality assurance.
- Diploma or degree in Radiologic Technology, Medical Imaging, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Knowledge of safety standards, infection control practices, and relevant regulatory guidelines for imaging services.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to support and reassure patients during procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment, manage multiple cases, and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Prior experience as an MRI Technologist or in advanced radiologic imaging in a hospital or diagnostic center is preferred.
