Role overview

Help customers choose Motorola smartphones on the shop floor. Understand their needs and budget, explain features clearly, give product demonstrations and close sales. This role is for experienced mobile retail sales candidates, not freshers.

Key responsibilities

- Welcome customers and recommend suitable Motorola smartphones based on their needs and

budget.
- Explain and compare camera features, battery life, performance, storage and connectivity; give

explicit product demonstrations.
- Recommend suitable accessories and available protection or warranty options, explaining their

benefits and terms accurately.
- Share approved prices, offers and payment options; confirm stock and availability with the store

team.
- Work towards agreed sales targets, handle objections and follow up on enquiries to convert

them into sales.
- Support billing and maintain accurate sales records; coordinate with the store team on customer

and after-sales queries.

Candidate requirements

- At least 1 year of mobile phone or electronics retail sales experience is required;

candidates with 1-2 years or more are welcome.




- Previous Motorola smartphone sales experience is preferred, with confidence in product

demonstrations and closing sales.
- Good knowledge of Motorola smartphones and the ability to compare features and recommend

the right model.
- 12th pass or above; a graduate qualification is an advantage.
- English, Bengali and Hindi are required, with fluent Bengali; Nepali is an advantage.
- A customer-first attitude, a target-driven approach and comfort with basic billing and

computer-based records.

- Clear customer communication and active listening.
- Product demonstrations, comparisons and objection handling.
- Sales conversion, accessory upselling and enquiry follow-up.
- Accurate record keeping and teamwork.

Work location / branch: Placewell Retail, beside Hotel Vinayak, Hill Cart Road, Siliguri. Weekly off: The weekly off is not fixed. You may work on Sundays and get a weekday off instead,

based on the staff schedule and availability.

Pay: From ₹15,000.00 per month
