Role Description The Mining Manager role is a full time, on-site position based in Baloda Bazar. The role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day mining operations, including mine planning, production scheduling, and coordination with cross-functional teams to ensure continuous and efficient material supply to the plant.

The Mining

Manager ensures adherence to safety regulations, environmental standards, and statutory compliance, while optimizing resource utilization and controlling operational budgets. Daily activities include supervising mining teams and contractors, monitoring geological and operational data,



implementing best practices in mine design and excavation, and preparing reports and documentation for internal and regulatory stakeholders.

Qualifications

- Strong expertise in Mine Planning and Mining Engineering to design, implement, and optimize mining operations.
- Proficiency in Mine Safety practices to ensure a protected working environment and compliance with safety regulations.
- Knowledge of Budgeting to manage operational costs, resources, and capital expenditures effectively.
- Practical understanding of Geology to assess reserves, plan extraction, and support long-term mine development.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mining Engineering, Geological Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in open-cast or similar mining operations, preferably within the cement or building materials industry.
- Familiarity with mining software and tools for planning, monitoring, and reporting.
- Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and with external stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work on-site in challenging environments, with a focus on safety, sustainability, and operational excellence.
