We are looking for an experienced Milling Foreman to supervise and manage day-to-day milling operations in our rice/grain processing facility. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient plant operations, maintaining product quality, minimizing losses, and achieving production targets.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise day-to-day rice/grain milling operations and ensure smooth plant functioning.
- Monitor the complete milling process, including cleaning, de-stoning, husking, paddy separation, whitening, polishing, grading, and sorting.
- Operate and monitor milling machinery and ensure optimum machine performance.
- Maintain required milling recovery and yield while minimizing broken rice, wastage, and processing losses.
- Monitor moisture levels and ensure proper process parameters at different stages.
- Supervise and manage mill operators and production workers.
- Allocate manpower according to production requirements and shift schedules.
- Identify operational problems, machine abnormalities, and process inefficiencies and coordinate with the maintenance team.
- Ensure consistent quality of finished rice/grain as per company specifications.
- Coordinate with the Quality, Maintenance, Warehouse, and Production teams.
- Maintain daily production, recovery, wastage, downtime, and other operational records.
- Ensure proper housekeeping, hygiene, safety, and 5S practices within the milling area.
- Train operators and workers on proper machine operation and safe working practices.




- Ensure production targets are achieved while maintaining quality and efficiency.
- Support management in improving milling efficiency, recovery percentage, and overall plant productivity.

Candidate Requirements
- ITI / Diploma / Graduate preferred.
- 3–7 years of hands-on experience in rice milling, grain processing, or a similar agro-processing industry.
- Strong practical knowledge of rice milling processes and machinery.
- Experience with contemporary rice mill plants, milling machines, graders, polishers, sorters, elevators, conveyors, and related equipment will be preferred.
- Good understanding of milling recovery, broken percentage, wastage, and production efficiency.
- Strong manpower handling and supervisory skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot basic operational and process-related issues.
- Willingness to work in shifts.
- Good discipline, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Experience Candidates with experience in rice mills, paddy processing plants, grain mills, or large-scale food/agro-processing units will be given preference.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
