Role Descriptions: Microsoft Intune Senior Consultant

Role Overview The Microsoft Intune Senior Consultant will provide expert-level consulting and operational support for endpoint management using Microsoft Intune. The consultant will support device enrollment, compliance, configuration policies, application deployment, endpoint security, and governance improvements across the managed device estate.

Key Responsibilities Design, review, and maintain Intune device compliance, configuration, enrollment, application, and endpoint security policies.

Support troubleshooting for Windows, mobile, and BYOD enrollment issues, policy failures, profile conflicts, and application deployment errors.

Advise on endpoint management best practices, including Autopilot, conditional access alignment, compliance reporting, and device lifecycle governance.

Collaborate with identity, security, desktop, and application teams to resolve cross-functional endpoint issues.

Prepare technical recommendations, SOP updates, risk observations, and remediation actions for endpoint management improvements.

Support change planning, impact review, implementation validation, and rollback planning for endpoint policy changes.

Required Skills And Competencies Strong hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Intune, Endpoint Manager, Autopilot, configuration profiles, compliance policies, app protection, and device enrollment.





Working understanding of Entra ID, conditional access, MFA, device identity, and hybrid identity dependencies.

Experience with Windows endpoint management, mobile device management, application deployment, and endpoint security baselines.

Ability to analyze logs, reports, device status, policy status, and Intune troubleshooting data.

Solid documentation and stakeholder communication skills for senior consulting engagements.

Experience Expectations 5+ years of endpoint management experience with at least 3 years focused on Microsoft Intune.

Experience in enterprise endpoint management, migrations, modern management rollout, or Intune operations.

Prior experience with SCCM / MECM, Windows Autopilot, or co-management will be an advantage.

Expected Deliverables Validated Intune policy recommendations and implementation support notes.

Troubleshooting analysis for endpoint and compliance issues.

Updated runbooks, governance recommendations, and endpoint management improvement tracker.

Preferred Certifications Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate preferred.

Microsoft Security or Modern Desktop certifications are an added advantage.
