Role Description The Meta / WhatsApp API Support Engineer is a full-time hybrid role based in Kochi, with flexibility for partial work from home. This role involves providing technical and customer support for Meta / WhatsApp Business API integrations, including diagnosing issues, resolving errors, and ensuring smooth deployment and maintenance of messaging solutions.

The engineer will handle support tickets, collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot complex problems, and guide clients through onboarding, configuration, and best practices. Daily responsibilities include monitoring API performance, documenting solutions and known issues, updating knowledge bases,



and communicating clearly with clients and internal stakeholders. The role also includes coordinating with Meta / WhatsApp partners when necessary and contributing to process improvements for support workflows.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills for APIs, integrations, and application-level issues.
- Candidates should possess solid Customer Support and Customer Service skills, including clear communication and empathy in client interactions.
- Candidates should possess good knowledge of Operating Systems (preferably Linux and Windows) for basic server, networking, and deployment tasks.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with REST APIs, web technologies, and JSON, with the ability to read and interpret logs and error responses.
- Relevant qualifications include a degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Beneficial skills include experience with Meta / WhatsApp Business API, cloud platforms, ticketing systems, and collaboration tools.
- Ability to work in a hybrid setting in Kochi, manage priorities independently, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
