We are looking for an experienced and responsible Mess Manager to oversee daily mess operations, food preparation, service quality, hygiene, and kitchen staff management. Candidates with experience in educational institutions, particularly schools, colleges, and hostels, will be highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day mess and dining operations, ensuring timely and quality food service.

- Plan menus and coordinate food preparation according to nutritional requirements and institutional standards.

- Supervise kitchen staff, cooks, helpers, and serving personnel.

- Monitor food quality, taste, hygiene, and sanitation standards.

- Ensure proper food storage, stock management, and inventory control.

- Manage food procurement, vendor coordination, and cost control to minimize wastage.

- Maintain cleanliness and ensure compliance with food safety standards.

- Handle student and staff feedback regarding food quality and service.

- Monitor staff attendance, duty allocation, and overall kitchen discipline.

- Maintain records of purchases, expenses, stock, and daily meal requirements.

Required Qualifications & Skills





- Degree or Diploma in Hotel Management is mandatory.

- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the food industry, catering, or mess management.

- Experience in schools, colleges, hostels, or other educational institutions is highly preferred.

- Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen management practices.

- Excellent team management, communication, and organizational skills.

- Ability to manage food costs, inventory, and large-scale meal operations.

- Responsible, disciplined, and capable of handling daily operational challenges.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Candidates with hands-on experience managing institutional kitchens or hostel mess facilities.

- Ability to manage bulk food preparation and serve large numbers of students and staff.

- Strong commitment to food quality, cleanliness, nutrition, and timely service.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
