: Merchandising Manager – Textile Showroom

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and manage the overall merchandising activities for the textile showroom.
- Develop and maintain product collections based on customer preferences and market trends.
- Coordinate with designers, suppliers, vendors, production teams, and showroom teams.
- Plan product assortment, category mix, quantities, and seasonal collections.
- Identify new products, fabrics, designs, and fashion trends suitable for the showroom.
- Monitor product performance, sales movement, stock levels, and replenishment requirements.
- Coordinate with suppliers for sampling, costing, quality, production, and timely delivery.
- Review product pricing, margins, and overall profitability.
- Ensure the right products are available at the right time and in the right quantities.
- Coordinate with the visual merchandising team for attractive product presentation.
- Conduct competitor and market analysis to identify current business opportunities.
- Manage and guide the merchandising team and ensure timely completion of tasks.




- Prepare merchandising reports and provide regular updates to management.
- Ensure proper coordination between design, purchase, production, warehouse, and showroom teams.

Requirements

- 5+ years of experience in textile merchandising, fashion merchandising, or retail merchandising.
- Experience in a textile showroom is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of textiles, fabrics, fashion trends, and product development.
- Good understanding of sourcing, costing, pricing, inventory, and margins.
- Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
- Good analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple categories and collections simultaneously.
- Strong follow-up and decision-making skills.

Salary ₹35000– ₹40,000 per month, depending on experience and skills.
