MEP Design Engineer – Data Centre Projects

Experience: 5–10 Years

Project Exposure: Data Centre Projects & GCC/Gulf Projects

Location - Trichy

Roles & Responsibilities

- Develop MEP designs for Data Centre projects, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
- Prepare design drawings, layouts, specifications, calculations, and technical documentation.
- Design and coordinate critical systems, including cooling, power distribution, UPS, generators, and redundancy systems.
- Ensure compliance with GCC standards and relevant international codes such as ASHRAE, NFPA, IEC, and applicable local regulations.
- Coordinate with architectural, structural, and multidisciplinary teams to resolve design clashes.
- Use AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Navisworks, and relevant design calculation tools.




- Review technical submittals, design modifications, and project deliverables.
- Support design reviews, quality checks, and coordination meetings.

Required Skills
- Solid experience in MEP design for Data Centre projects.
- Hands-on experience with GCC/Gulf projects and applicable standards.
- Knowledge of mission-critical systems, redundancy, and data centre infrastructure.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit MEP.
- Good coordination, technical documentation, and problem-solving skills.
