About the Role

Wellcaza Medicity is looking for a compassionate, confident and result-oriented Medical Social Worker (MSW) to join our Onsite Patient Management /Healthcare Promotions and Marketing Team.

The role combines medical social work, patient counselling, doctor coordination, patient enquiry management, healthcare outreach and community engagement. The candidate will work closely with patients, families, doctors, healthcare professionals and the promotions team to facilitate appropriate patient care and support healthcare service outreach.

Key Responsibilities

- Work closely with the Healthcare Promotions / Marketing Team for patient outreach and service promotion.
- Counsel patients and family members regarding available healthcare services and care pathways.
- Attend to patient and family enquiries and provide appropriate initial guidance and query clarification, coordinating with doctors wherever medical clarification is required.
- Coordinate with doctors and clinical teams to address patient/family queries and facilitate appropriate communication.
- Support the healthcare team in identifying and facilitating appropriate admissions/referrals, including support for bedridden, elderly and dependent patients who may require hospital or geriatric care.




- Develop and maintain professional relationships with patients, families, community contacts and referral sources.
- Conduct outreach activities and support patient engagement initiatives.
- Participate in CSR activities, awareness campaigns and social welfare initiatives.
- Maintain proper documentation of enquiries, counselling, follow-ups, referrals and outreach activities.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth patient communication and follow-up.
- Support the organization in building stronger community and healthcare-network relationships.
- Willingness to travel for patient outreach, CSR programmes and promotional activities will be an advantage.

Eligibility
- MSW – Master of Social Work is mandatory./MA Social Work may also be considered.
- Candidates with a background or exposure in Psychiatric Social Work or Geriatric Social Work will be preferred.
- Freshers and experienced candidates may apply.
- Candidates with experience in hospital, geriatric care, mental health, patient relations, healthcare outreach or community programmes will have an advantage.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable interacting with patients and families, coordinating with doctors, responding to enquiries, participating in community/CSR initiatives and supporting the healthcare promotions team in developing meaningful patient and community relationships.
