Job Responsibilities

- Identify the provider from medical documents and accurately key relevant information into the system.
- Understand and apply coding requirements based on payer, client, and state-specific guidelines.
- Ensure the number of charts processed matches those received from clients.




- Perform denial follow-up and appeals processing when required.
- Receive and review charge documents from various sites.
- Validate that all charge information provided is complete and accurate.
- Abstract CPT-4 and ICD-9-CM / ICD-10 codes from medical records.
- Interpret medical documentation to assign correct diagnostic and procedural codes.
