Role & responsibilities

- Attend and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical breakdowns.

- Maintain forging presses, trimming/shearing machines, and induction billet heaters.

- Perform Preventive Maintenance (PM) and routine machine inspections.

- Diagnose issues in hydraulic systems, pumps, motors, sensors, valves, and lubrication systems.

- Support root-cause analysis and corrective actions for recurring breakdowns.

- Maintain breakdown, downtime, and spare-parts records.

- Follow LOTO, 5S, safety procedures, and machine interlocks.

- Coordinate with production and shift teams to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations.
