Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Maintenance Engineer to manage the maintenance, troubleshooting, and smooth functioning of machinery, electrical systems, and production equipment in our furniture manufacturing facility.

The candidate will be responsible for preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance, troubleshooting, machine reliability, and minimizing production downtime.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of production machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
- Ensure machines are available and operational to support uninterrupted production.
- Conduct regular inspections of machinery and identify potential failures before breakdowns occur.
- Maintain preventive maintenance schedules and ensure timely execution.
- Diagnose and resolve machine breakdowns within minimum possible downtime.
- Coordinate with production teams to prioritize and resolve maintenance issues.
- Maintain records of breakdowns, repairs, spare parts, and preventive maintenance activities.
- Monitor machine performance and identify opportunities to improve reliability and efficiency.
- Manage maintenance of electrical panels, motors, compressors, power tools, and other plant equipment.
- Coordinate with external technicians and service providers for specialized repairs.
- Maintain adequate stock of critical maintenance spares and consumables.
- Ensure proper lubrication, cleaning, alignment, and servicing of machines.
- Support installation, commissioning, and shifting of new machinery when required.
- Follow all safety procedures, 5S standards,



and workplace safety guidelines.
- Assist in identifying root causes of recurring machine failures and implement corrective actions.

Machinery / Equipment Exposure Experience with maintenance of equipment such as:

- CNC Machines
- CNC Router / Multiboring Machines
- Edge Banding Machines
- Panel Saw / Cutting Machines
- Drilling Machines
- Laser Cutting Machines
- Grinders and Power Tools
- Compressors
- Electrical Panels and Motors
- Pneumatic Systems
- Other furniture manufacturing machinery

Required Skills

- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good knowledge of electrical and mechanical maintenance.
- Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Understanding of preventive and breakdown maintenance.
- Ability to read basic electrical drawings and machine manuals.
- Valuable knowledge of maintenance tools and equipment.
- Strong coordination with production and other departments.
- Ability to work under pressure and respond quickly during machine breakdowns.
- Good documentation and maintenance reporting skills.
- Strong focus on safety and machine reliability.

Qualification

- Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in furniture manufacturing, interior manufacturing, CNC machinery, or similar production industries preferred.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
