Role Description The Mechanical Engineering Intern will support the design, analysis, and development of mechanical components and systems for AI, robotics, and automation projects. Day-to-day tasks may include assisting with CAD modeling, preparing engineering drawings, performing basic calculations and simulations, and contributing to prototype development and testing.

The intern will help document design decisions, maintain project records,



and collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical designs with electronics and software.

Responsibilities also include participating in remote meetings, sharing progress updates, and contributing to continuous improvement of design and development processes. This is an internship role and is conducted in a remote working environment.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Mechanical Engineering fundamentals, including statics, dynamics, materials, and basic manufacturing processes.
- Candidates should possess Computer-Aided Design (CAD) skills, with experience using tools such as SolidWorks, Fusion 360, CATIA, or similar platforms.
- Candidates should possess Analytical Skills, including problem-solving, data interpretation, and a structured approach to technical challenges.
- Candidates should possess Communication skills, including explicit written and verbal communication and the ability to collaborate in remote, multidisciplinary teams.
- Candidates should possess basic Project Management abilities, such as time management, task planning, and working with milestones and deadlines.
- Enrollment in or completion of a bachelor’s program in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline is preferred.
- Familiarity with robotics, automation, or embedded systems, and interest in AI-driven engineering solutions are beneficial.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, show initiative, and adapt to fast-paced R&D; environments is valuable.
