■ Design and development of mechanical components for highly precise optical systems for Germany based company

■ Evaluation of the impact of mechanical design elements on optical performance specifications through advanced tolerance analysis

■ Design, development, and optimization of cooling and thermal management systems

■ Analysis and mitigation of thermally induced structural deformations

■ Investigation and assessment of flow-induced effects within cooling systems

■ Development of passive mounting, damping, and vibration isolation concepts

■ Simulation and evaluation of coupled physical phenomena, including thermal, structural, dynamic, and fluid interactions

■ Integration of high-dynamic control and positioning systems

■ Close collaboration with subject matter experts and system engineers in interdisciplinary development projects

Requirements:

■ Fluent English language skill.



German language skill is advantageous

■ Hands-on experience with PTC Creo, STAR-CCM+, Ansys Mechanical, and MATLAB

■ Solid understanding of coupled thermo-mechanical, fluid-dynamic, and structural interactions

■ Robust systems-thinking mindset across multiple physical domains

■ Experience working with extremely demanding accuracy and stability requirements

■ Bachelor's in mechanical engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Engineering Physics, Precision Engineering, or a related discipline

■ Expertise in the development of high-precision systems is considered a strong advantage

■ Strong communication skills, solution-oriented thinking, and a high sense of responsibility
