Required qualifications and experience

- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, supply chain.

- 13 years of experience in material master data, master data management, supply chain operations, inventory, procurement support or technical cataloguing for materials.

- Working knowledge of SAP material master concepts; exposure to SAP MM ECC and MDG transactions or ERP master-data workflows is preferred.

- Positive practical knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, lookups, text functions, conditional formatting, and data validation.

- Ability to interpret technical descriptions, manufacturer part numbers, datasheets and product catalogues.

- Clear written and verbal English, with the ability to explain data issues and request clarifications professionally.

Preferred capabilities





- Exposure to oil and gas, energy, manufacturing, engineering services or industrial spare-parts data.

- Understanding of material taxonomy, nounmodifier conventions, UNSPSC, units of measure and manufacturer normalization.

- Experience with workflow or case-management tools such as Salesforce (not Mandatory), and reporting tools such as Power BI (Not Mandatory).

- Awareness of data-quality dimensions, duplicate prevention, change controls and audit evidence.

- Basic understanding of maintenance, inventory and procurement processes, including bills of material and plant extensions.
