About Affectionate Hands Foundation

Affectionate Hands Foundation is a grassroots volunteering organization currently transitioning into a Section 8 NGO. Founded by Mohammed Suhaib and operational since October 2022, our work centers on high-impact community projects, including:

- Child Welfare & Healthcare: Abandoned Babies Project in collaboration with Janapada Seva Trust and girl child protection initiatives.
- Education & Digital Literacy: Setting up rural school libraries, distributing books and notebooks, and deploying digital learning tools.
- Environmental & Animal Welfare: Local environmental conservation initiatives (such as the Dhanushkoti Rock clean-up) and an active initiative building an animal adoption pipeline.
- Inclusive Initiatives: Community support for visually impaired individuals through sports, wellness, and adventure activities including marathon guiding, trekking, tandem cycling, and creative programs.

About the Role This 6-month hybrid program is built around a practical "Learn & Lead" framework. You will work directly on real-time outreach and campaign execution while undergoing hands-on upskilling to eventually step up and mentor the next cohort of interns.

- Mode: Hybrid (Remote work + on-ground event coordination & documentation in Bengaluru)
- Duration: 6 Months
- Learning Phase (Months 1–6): Unpaid training & leadership development program. We compensate your dedication through dedicated 1-on-1 mentorship, high-impact field management experience, and end-to-end digital marketing upskilling.
- Post-Program Transition: Top-performing trainees will be eligible for consideration into a Paid Marketing Lead / Coordinator Role (Subject to organizational Section 8 incorporation milestones, project grant/funding allocations, and individual performance evaluation upon completion of the 6-month training cohort) .

Key Responsibilities

- Collateral & Brochure Design: Design, write, and finalize core organizational brochures, flyers,



and promotional materials for our ongoing causes and community events.
- Digital Outreach & Social Media: Manage posting schedules across LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook, creating engaging copy and creative visuals.
- Newsletter & Email Marketing: Build a community email subscriber base and launch regular newsletters highlighting project milestones and volunteer stories.
- Video & Media Storytelling: Capture, edit, and curate short-form reels/shorts and photo documentation from field visits and project drives.
- Rotational Ground Documentation: Coordinate directly with the founder on a weekly rotational schedule to collect raw photographs, videos, and on-ground project updates.
- Peer Mentorship & Scaling: Learn team workflows, shadow leadership, and assist in onboarding and mentoring the next cohort of interns.

Who We Are Looking For

- Commitment to Social Impact: A demonstrated passion for grassroots community development, social initiatives, and mission-driven work.
- Willingness to Learn & Lead: A proactive mindset with an eagerness to acquire practical skills, adapt to dynamic field environments, and take ownership of initiatives.
- Basic Familiarity (Advantageous, Not Mandatory): Prior experience in basic graphic design (e.g., Canva or Adobe), content writing, or social media management is appreciated, though genuine enthusiasm and coachability remain primary.
- Reliability & Teamwork: Solid interpersonal communication, accountability, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a hybrid team setup with scheduled on-ground participation.
