Marketing Strategist – All-Rounder | Digital Marketing & Lead Generation

CITACT is an established Australian electronic security company operating since 1998, providing CCTV, access control, alarm systems, intercoms, monitoring and integrated security solutions across Victoria and New South Wales.

We serve schools, childcare centres, government, commercial businesses, builders, construction companies and residential clients. As we enter an ambitious growth phase, we are seeking a talented, hands-on Marketing Strategist – All-Rounder to take complete ownership of our marketing function.

About the Role

This is a hands-on role for someone who can independently manage end-to-end marketing, from strategy and content creation to paid advertising, SEO, CRM automation and lead generation.

You will work directly with our General Manager to grow CITACT's brand, improve our digital presence, generate qualified leads and support business growth.

We are looking for someone who executes, not just plans. You will be responsible for delivering marketing activities, tracking results and continuously improving performance.

Key Responsibilities

- Website: Maintain and optimise our existing website, lead the development of a modern website and build conversion-focused landing pages.
- SEO: Manage keyword research, on-page and off-page SEO, technical SEO, local SEO, Google Business Profile and organic growth.
- Paid Advertising: Plan, manage and optimise Google Ads, Meta Ads and remarketing campaigns.
- Social Media: Manage LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram, including content planning, publishing and audience engagement.
- Content Marketing: Write SEO blogs, website copy, case studies, newsletters, service guides and promotional content.
- Branding & Design:



Maintain brand consistency and create professional graphics, brochures, presentations, advertisements and marketing materials.
- Video Production: Edit project videos, reels, promotional videos and short-form content for digital platforms.
- CRM & Automation: Manage GoHighLevel (GHL), including lead pipelines, automated workflows, email campaigns, SMS follow-ups and lead nurturing.
- Lead Generation: Develop targeted B2B campaigns for schools, childcare centres, commercial clients, builders, government and other target markets.
- Email Marketing: Create newsletters, customer engagement campaigns, reactivation campaigns and customer retention initiatives.
- Business Development Support: Research prospects, competitors, industry opportunities, partnerships and networking activities.
- Analytics & Reporting: Track campaign performance, website traffic, lead quality, cost per lead and conversions. Provide daily progress updates and weekly and monthly reports.
- Marketing Operations: Manage the marketing calendar, budgets, tools, campaign assets and compliance with applicable Australian marketing and privacy requirements.

About You
- Minimum 3 years of practical, hands-on marketing experience as all-rounder.
- Proven ability to manage the full marketing function independently.
- Robust experience in SEO, Google Ads, Meta Ads and lead generation.
- Website management experience with WordPress, Webflow or similar platforms.
- Excellent copywriting, content creation and social media management skills.
- Graphic design capability using Canva, Adobe or equivalent tools.
- Experience with CRM, email marketing and marketing automation; GoHighLevel is highly regarded.
- Familiarity with GA4, Google Search Console,



Google Tag Manager and SEO tools such as Ahrefs or Semrush.
- Video editing and B2B marketing experience are advantageous.
- Excellent written English, attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Self-motivated, accountable and comfortable working remotely with minimal supervision.
- Reliable computer, high-speed internet and a suitable home workspace.
- Ability to work Monday–Saturday during agreed Melbourne business hours.

Experience in security, construction, trades, technology or other service-based businesses will be highly regarded.
