Job Summary

We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Manual Jewellery Designer who can create innovative, accurate hand-drawn designs for Kolkata-style gold jewellery.

The candidate will work closely with Production and Merchandising teams to develop commercially viable designs that are suitable for manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

· Create hand-drawn designs for Kolkata-style gold jewellery.

· Design necklaces, earrings, bangles, pendants, and other jewellery pieces.

· Prepare detailed sketches showing patterns, proportions, motifs, and stone placement.

· Create innovative, trend-based designs while maintaining traditional Kolkata-style elements.

· Modify existing designs as per business requirements.

· Ensure design feasibility, accuracy, and quality.

· Coordinate with Production, Merchandising, and artisan teams.

· Understand jewellery manufacturing requirements.

· Maintain proper design documentation.





· Complete assigned designs within timelines.

Requirements

· 4–5 years of experience in manual jewellery designing.

· Strong hands-on experience in jewellery design, preferably Kolkata-style jewellery.

· Excellent hand-sketching and design visualisation skills.

· Positive knowledge of jewellery manufacturing processes and materials.

· Understanding of stone placement and production feasibility.

· Strong attention to detail and creativity.

· Ability to manage multiple assignments.

Preferred Skills

· Knowledge of current jewellery trends and traditional Kolkata-style designs.

· Good communication and teamwork skills.

· Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams.

· Strong focus on quality and deadlines.

· A portfolio of hand-drawn jewellery designs is preferred.
