About the role

We are seeking a Manager - Sales (Distributor Channel) to own the Bengaluru market for Capitalmind Mutual Fund. In this role you will build and grow our distribution presence across the city, working with wealth managers, distributors and partners to bring our schemes to their clients. This is an individual contributor position reporting to the Head of Sales.

You will carry the market independently, which calls for sound judgement in prioritisation,



discipline in executing a consistent activity plan and strong relationship skills.

What you'll do

- Own business development and AUM growth for the Bengaluru market
- Empanel new distributors and partners, and activate them so they begin transacting
- Deepen existing partner relationships through regular engagement and support
- Represent Capitalmind to partners as the face of the firm in your market, and carry the brand credibly in every interaction
- Conduct product and training sessions so that partners understand our schemes well enough to recommend them
- Maintain a monthly and quarterly activity plan and execute it consistently
- Visit partners on a regular cadence and support them in sourcing business
- Represent Capitalmind at investor and distributor events across the city





What we're looking for

- A capable business development professional who can open a relationship, hold a considered conversation and carry it to a close over a full sales cycle
- Strong written and interpersonal communication
- The ability to build rapport that partners value
- A quick learner who can get up to speed on our products and the wider mutual fund market
- A self-driven and organised individual, comfortable owning a target and a territory with limited supervision
- Familiarity with the Bengaluru market and its wealth and distribution ecosystem is an advantage

How the role is measured

- Distributor empanelment and activation in the Bengaluru market
- AUM growth and net sales against an agreed plan
- Consistency of partner engagement and execution of the monthly and quarterly activity plan

Qualifications and experience

- Minimum Graduate in any discipline
- 3 to 6 years of business development experience in the BFSI sector
- NISM Series V-A (Mutual Fund Distributors) certification
- Reports to the Head of Sales. Based in Bengaluru
