Role & responsibilities

- Manage quality testing of construction materials, including cement, concrete, aggregates, steel, bricks, and other building materials.

- Oversee laboratory operations, material sampling, testing procedures, and quality inspections.

- Ensure compliance with applicable IS codes, testing standards, and project specifications.

- Monitor concrete mix designs, cube testing, compressive strength, and other material performance tests.

- Verify test reports, maintain quality records, and ensure accuracy and reliability of test results.

- Coordinate with site teams, vendors, suppliers, and external laboratories for material testing and quality compliance.

- Identify material quality deviations, investigate root causes, and implement corrective actions.

- Ensure proper calibration, maintenance, and functioning of laboratory equipment.

- Supervise laboratory staff and ensure adherence to testing procedures and safety protocols.





- Conduct quality audits and ensure timely reporting of material test results to project teams.

Preferred candidate profile

- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering or a relevant qualification.

- Minimum 14+ years of experience in construction material quality control, quality assurance, and laboratory testing.

- Mandatory quality certifications relevant to construction materials testing and quality management.

- Strong expertise in testing cement, concrete, aggregates, steel, and other construction materials.

- In-depth knowledge of applicable IS codes, material testing standards, and laboratory procedures.

- Experience in concrete mix design, compressive strength testing, material sampling, and test report validation.

- Hands-on experience in managing construction material testing laboratories, equipment calibration, and laboratory audits.

- Robust team management, analytical, problem-solving, and technical reporting skills.
