About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Dispatch Manager to oversee dispatch operations, logistics coordination, inventory movement, packaging, and timely order fulfilment. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth day-to-day operations, accurate documentation, cost-effective transportation, and efficient coordination with internal teams and logistics partners.

Key Responsibilities

- Dispatch Operations: Manage end-to-end dispatch activities, ensuring timely and accurate order processing and shipment.

- Team Management: Supervise and guide the dispatch team, allocate daily tasks, and monitor productivity.

- Order Fulfilment: Coordinate with sales, warehouse, production, and accounts teams to ensure orders are dispatched as per schedule.

- Packaging & Quality Checks: Ensure proper packaging, labelling, quantity verification, and adherence to product handling standards.

- Logistics Coordination: Coordinate with transporters, courier partners, and third-party logistics providers for timely deliveries.

- Inventory Management: Monitor stock movement, maintain dispatch records, and ensure accurate reconciliation of dispatched goods.

- Documentation: Maintain invoices, delivery challans, e-way bills, LR/GR receipts, shipment details, and other relevant dispatch documents.





- ERP Management: Ensure accurate and timely updating of dispatch transactions, inventory movements, and shipment details in the ERP system.

- Cost Control: Monitor transportation and packaging costs and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency.

- MIS & Reporting: Prepare daily dispatch reports, pending order reports, delivery status updates, and other operational reports.

- Issue Resolution: Handle dispatch discrepancies, delayed shipments, damaged goods, and delivery-related concerns.

Required Qualifications & Experience

- Graduate in any discipline; a degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Operations will be preferred.

- 47 years of relevant experience in dispatch, warehouse, or logistics operations, preferably with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.

- Experience in FMCG, food processing, or manufacturing industries will be an advantage.

- Working knowledge of ERP systems, inventory management, Excel, and dispatch documentation.

- Solid team management, planning, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to manage high-volume dispatch operations and meet strict timelines.
