- Prepare employment documents, identity checks, and induction schedules.
- Introduce new employees to the reporting structure, workplace policies, safety culture,

- Coordinate role-specific induction with flying, maintenance, safety, quality, and operations teams; track probation reviews.

4 Workforce planning and rosters
- Monitor staffing against aircraft utilisation, student intake, training schedules, leave, and anticipated departures.
- Identify instructor and support staff shortages early with department heads.
- Support shift and leave planning while operational fitness and duty decisions remain with responsible managers.
- Prepare succession and contingency plans for key positions.

5 Payroll attendance and benefits
- Verify attendance, leave, approved allowances, and payroll inputs.
- Coordinate monthly payroll with finance and resolve pay queries.
- Maintain benefit, reimbursement, advance, and full and final settlement records.
- Coordinate applicable employment filings with finance, payroll providers, and legal advisers.

6 Performance management
- Maintain transparent job descriptions and measurable goals.
- Coordinate probation, appraisal, promotion, and compensation review cycles.
- Help managers document performance concerns and improvement plans fairly.
- Identify development needs and coordinate training with the responsible department.

7 Employee relations and conduct
- Serve as a confidential point of contact for employee concerns.
- Support fair, documented grievance and disciplinary processes.
- Promote professional conduct and implement applicable workplace policies and complaint mechanisms.

8 Audit and compliance support
- Keep HR evidence ready for internal audits and applicable regulatory inspections.
- Support safety and quality teams with personnel evidence and corrective-action tracking.
- Update HR procedures when staffing structures, manuals, or internal processes change.
- Escalate missing, expired,

or inconsistent personnel documents promptly.

9 Policies and HR systems
- Draft and maintain policies for recruitment, attendance, leave, travel, conduct, performance, and separation, subject to management approval.
- Maintain accurate employee data in HR systems and controlled trackers.
- Protect confidential employee and candidate information; maintain standard HR templates.

10 Management reporting
- Submit a monthly dashboard covering headcount, vacancies, hiring progress, upcoming expiries, attrition, leave and attendance, probation reviews, and training actions.
- Highlight material staffing risks affecting the training plan.

Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or PGDM in HR preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of HR experience, including at least 2 years in aviation.
- Proven recruitment experience for aviation or specialist operational roles.
- Experience maintaining controlled personnel records and expiry trackers.
- Strong Excel and HR system skills, with clear written and spoken English.

Preferred experience
- HR work at a DGCA-approved FTO.
- Recruitment of pilots, flight instructors, ground instructors, maintenance personnel, or aviation operations staff.
- Experience supporting aviation audits or inspections, multi-location operations, and staff relocation.
