1. Job Summary We are looking for an experienced and technically robust Manager – Cloud Services to lead our Server, Storage, Virtualization, and Cloud Infrastructure team. The candidate will manage technical operations, project implementation, resource allocation, customer escalations, and service delivery while ensuring high availability, performance, security, and reliability of IT infrastructure.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in enterprise server and storage solutions, virtualization platforms, and cloud technologies, along with team management, project execution, and customer relationship skills.

2. Key Responsibilities

A. Server Infrastructure Management Lead the design, deployment, configuration, and maintenance of enterprise server infrastructure. Manage and support HPE, Dell, Lenovo, and other enterprise server platforms. Oversee server installation, rack mounting, firmware upgrades, BIOS configuration, and hardware troubleshooting. Ensure server performance, availability, capacity planning, and preventive maintenance. Manage operating systems, including Windows Server and Linux distributions.

B. Storage & Backup Management Lead implementation and support of enterprise storage solutions, including SAN, NAS, and DAS. Manage storage provisioning, zoning, LUN allocation, multipathing, and performance optimization. Handle storage platforms from HPE, Dell, NetApp, and other enterprise OEMs. Oversee backup, recovery, replication, and disaster recovery solutions. Ensure data protection, backup validation, and recovery readiness.

C. Virtualization Management Manage virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere/ESXi, Microsoft Hyper-V, and other enterprise virtualization technologies. Lead deployment and administration of virtual machines, clusters, resource pools, and virtual infrastructure. Manage high availability, live migration, capacity planning, and performance optimization. Troubleshoot complex virtualization issues and ensure optimal utilization of infrastructure resources.

D.

Cloud Infrastructure

Management Lead deployment, migration, administration, and support of cloud infrastructure. Manage public, private, and hybrid cloud environments. Work with platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, and relevant enterprise cloud solutions. Plan and execute cloud migration, workload modernization, backup, and disaster recovery initiatives. Monitor cloud performance, availability, security, and resource utilization. Optimize cloud expenditure and ensure effective resource management.

E. Team Leadership & Management Lead and mentor server, storage, virtualization, and cloud engineers. Allocate resources based on project priorities, technical requirements, and customer commitments. Define responsibilities, review performance, and support technical development of team members. Ensure proper documentation, knowledge sharing,



and adherence to technical standards. Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, and technical training requirements.

F. Project Execution & Service Delivery Plan and execute infrastructure implementation, migration, upgrade, and expansion projects. Ensure projects are completed within agreed scope, timeline, budget, and quality standards. Coordinate with Sales, Presales, Procurement, Project Management, OEMs, and customers. Review project schedules, resource availability, delivery dependencies, and implementation risks. Ensure proper handover, documentation, and closure of completed projects.

G. Customer Support & Escalation Management Handle critical technical escalations and provide effective resolutions. Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure customer satisfaction. Coordinate with OEM support teams for warranty, RMA, and complex technical issues. Ensure timely resolution of service requests and adherence to agreed SLAs. Participate in customer meetings, technical reviews, and project discussions.

H. Process, Compliance & Reporting Establish standard operating procedures, implementation checklists, and escalation processes. Maintain accurate technical documentation, asset records, project reports, and service records.

Track project progress, pending activities, service performance, and resource utilization. Provide regular management reports on project delivery, team performance, customer issues, and operational risks. Ensure compliance with applicable information security policies and customer requirements.

Required Technical

Skills Strong knowledge of enterprise servers, storage, and data centre infrastructure. Hands-on experience with VMware vSphere/ESXi and/or Microsoft Hyper-V.

Experience with SAN, NAS, backup, replication, and disaster recovery technologies. Working knowledge of Windows Server and Linux administration.

Experience with Azure, AWS, or other enterprise cloud platforms. Knowledge of networking fundamentals, VLANs, IP addressing, DNS, routing, and firewalls. Understanding of high availability, business continuity, data protection, and infrastructure security. Ability to troubleshoot complex hardware, operating system, virtualization, storage, and cloud issues.

4. Managerial & Leadership Skills Proven experience managing technical teams and multiple infrastructure projects. Strong planning, coordination, delegation, and decision-making skills. Ability to manage competing priorities and meet committed delivery timelines.



Excellent customer communication and stakeholder management skills. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and escalation-handling abilities. Ability to prepare project plans, technical reports, resource plans, and management updates.

5. Educational Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related discipline. Relevant certifications preferred: VMware VCP or equivalent; Microsoft Azure or AWS; HPE, Dell, NetApp or equivalent server/storage; backup and disaster recovery certifications.

6. Experience Requirements 8–12 years of experience in IT infrastructure, server, storage, virtualization, and cloud technologies. At least 3 years of experience in a technical leadership or managerial role. Demonstrated experience in enterprise infrastructure implementation and customer-facing projects. Experience managing technical engineers, project schedules, customer escalations, and OEM coordination.

8. Ideal Candidate Profile The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with leadership and execution capabilities. The candidate must be comfortable managing engineers, coordinating with customers and OEMs, resolving critical infrastructure issues, and ensuring successful delivery of server, storage, virtualization, and cloud projects. 9.

Additional Responsibilities Business and Presales Support: Support technical presales, solution design, BOQ preparation, OEM coordination, and customer presentations. Commercial & Procurement Coordination: Coordinate with Procurement and Sales to ensure timely material availability, project costing, resource planning, and delivery commitments.

Department Growth: Develop the technical team, improve service delivery processes, support AMC and managed services opportunities, and contribute to the growth of the infrastructure business.
