Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Maintenance & Automation Engineer to handle troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and automation system support for industrial machinery and Special Purpose Machines (SPM). The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in PLC, electrical systems, machine maintenance, and industrial automation.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of industrial machinery and SPM equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical, control, and automation-related issues.
- Diagnose and resolve PLC, sensor, actuator, motor, and VFD-related faults.
- Work with PLCs such as Siemens, Mitsubishi, or other industrial automation platforms.
- Read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams, circuit diagrams, and technical drawings.
- Handle installation, commissioning, testing, and maintenance of automation systems.
- Identify root causes of recurring machine failures and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor machine performance and minimize downtime through timely maintenance.
- Coordinate with production, mechanical, and automation teams to resolve technical issues.
- Maintain maintenance records, breakdown reports, and preventive maintenance schedules.
- Support machine modifications, upgrades, and continuous improvement activities.




- Follow electrical safety procedures and company maintenance standards.
- Provide on-site customer support and attend service calls whenever required.

Required Skills
- Good knowledge of industrial electrical systems and automation.
- Hands-on experience in PLC troubleshooting and basic programming.
- Knowledge of sensors, actuators, relays, contactors, motors, and VFDs.
- Ability to read electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites for installation, commissioning, and service support.
- Good communication and coordination skills.

Educational Qualification
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.

Experience
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in industrial maintenance, PLC-based automation, or SPM machinery.
- Candidates with hands-on experience in Siemens or Mitsubishi PLCs will be preferred.

Preferred Candidates
- Experience in industrial automation, manufacturing, automotive, or SPM industries.
- Experience in machine commissioning, breakdown analysis, and preventive maintenance.
- Knowledge of pneumatic and electro-pneumatic systems is an added advantage.
