Mechanical Engineer Maintenance

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance-Mechanical Engineerto manage and maintain mechanical equipment and utilities in our chemical manufacturing plant. The candidate should have hands-on experience in maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and preventive maintenance of mechanical equipment used in chemical/process industries.

Key Responsibilities

- Carry out preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance of mechanical equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment to ensure minimum production downtime.
- Maintain and repair:
- Pumps, Vacuum Pumps and Valves
- SS / MS / Lead-Lined Vessels
- Cooling Towers and Chilling Systems
- Boilers
- Hot Oil Units / Thermic Fluid Systems
- Inspect equipment condition and identify potential mechanical failures.
- Coordinate with Production and other departments for planned and breakdown maintenance.




- Maintain maintenance records, checklists and equipment history.
- Coordinate with external vendors/contractors for specialized repair and maintenance work.
- Ensure availability of critical mechanical spares and support maintenance planning.
- Follow plant safety procedures and ensure safe execution of maintenance activities.
- Support continuous improvement and reliability of plant equipment.

Required Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- 3–7 years of relevant maintenance experience in a chemical/process manufacturing plant.
- Valuable understanding of preventive and breakdown maintenance.
- Experience working in a chemical manufacturing environment will be preferred.
