Position : Mainframe Developer/Cobol Developer

Direct Responsibilities:
- The role is for a Senior Software Engineer with experience of working within a agile and demanding environment reacting to changing business needs who works equally well as an individual or as part of a team.
- The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years Application Development and Maintenance & support experience. The candidate must have past experience of working as a part of large Development / Support team.
- The role will also involve all aspects of the Application development, M&E; activities and to provide L3 support ticket resolutions. The candidate should have an understanding of full software life cycle (SDLC)
as well as Agile Methodology.
- Previous experience within the investment-banking sector is not essential but will be an added advantage.
Technical Skills:
- Strong handson experience with COBOL, UNIX and SQL.
- Good Knowledge & Understanding of Oracle DB, PL-SQL.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in collaborative team.
- Flair for learning new tools & technology
- Knowledge of AUTOSYS, JIRA and ServiceNow will be an added advantage
- Unit testing, integration testing, and testdriven development (TDD)
- Good to have of Unix Server environment & platforms
