Job Summary

Siebener Automation and Solution is seeking a skilled SPM Machine Designer to design and develop innovative Special Purpose Machines (SPMs) and automation equipment. The ideal candidate should have experience in machine design, 3D modeling, manufacturing drawings, and BOM preparation for industrial automation projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop Special Purpose Machines (SPMs) and industrial automation equipment.
- Create 3D models, detailed manufacturing drawings, and assembly drawings using CAD software.
- Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) and technical documentation.
- Select standard mechanical components such as bearings, linear guides, ball screws, pneumatic components, motors, and gearboxes.
- Coordinate with Electrical, Automation, Purchase, Production, and Project teams during machine development.
- Ensure designs are manufacturable, cost-effective, and meet customer requirements.
- Support assembly, machine trials, and design modifications during commissioning.
- Maintain engineering documentation and revision records.

Requirements
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.




- 2–5 years of experience in SPM Machine Design or Industrial Automation.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, Creo, AutoCAD, or similar 3D CAD software.
- Good knowledge of machine design principles, GD&T;, manufacturing processes, and material selection.
- Experience in preparing BOMs and production drawings.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of Pneumatic Systems, Servo Systems, Linear Motion Components, and Machine Safety.
- Experience in automation projects and custom machine design.
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
