Role Description The Estimation and Proposal Manager is a full-time, in office role based in chennai , Tamilnadu .This role is responsible for leading the preparation of accurate cost estimates and competitive technical-commercial proposals for electrical supply, engineering services, technical manpower, and panel integration projects. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing project specifications, drawings, and tender documents; coordinating with engineering, procurement, and operations teams to gather pricing and technical data; and developing detailed BOQs, cost breakdowns, and proposal documentation. The manager will oversee proposal timelines, ensure compliance with client and regulatory requirements, and support negotiations by clarifying scope, assumptions, and exclusions.

The role also involves maintaining estimation tools and databases,



tracking bid outcomes, and contributing to continuous improvement of pricing strategies and proposal quality.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in project estimation and cost analysis for electrical materials, engineering services, and panel integration, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Experience in proposal development, including preparation of technical and commercial offers, BOQs, and tender documentation for industrial or construction projects.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, cables, instrumentation, and related components, ideally within electromechanical or EPC environments.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other relevant software tools for costing, data analysis, and document preparation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Demonstrated organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline; equivalent experience may be considered.
- Prior experience in estimation, proposals, or bidding within the Middle East market, especially UAE, is an advantage.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and to work on-site in Riyadh on a full-time basis.
