What is the purpose of this role- what are they there to achieve?

The Factory Primary Logistics Specialist Region (IBH) is responsible for the regional execution, coordination, and escalation of primary logistics flows involving factories, ensuring raw materials, semi-finished and finished goods move reliably across the internal supply and distribution network.

Operating from the IBH delivery hub, the role executes and coordinates factoryrelated primary logistics activities across multiple sites, acting as the central execution point for factorytofactory and factorytodistributioncentre flows within the region. The role ensures primary logistics movements are visible, progressing as planned, and issues are identified and escalated early to protect downstream distribution and market supply.

Key Responsibilities

What are the primary activities that this role will be accountable for?

Execute and coordinate regional factoryrelated primary logistics flows, including factorytofactory and factorytodistributioncentre movements.

Control daytoday factoryfacing primary logistics execution, including shipment sequencing, dispatch readiness alignment, and exception handling across sites.





¢ Track primary logistics movements (milestones, ETAs, delivery status) and proactively identify and manage delays, risks, shortages, or dispatch/receipt issues impacting network supply.

¢ Coordinate scheduling and handovers between factories and distribution centres, ensuring dispatch and receipt readiness is aligned, including delivery windows or slots where applicable.

¢ Support rapid resolution of primary logistics execution issues by executing recovery actions and escalating where execution thresholds are exceeded.

¢ Maintain accurate execution updates and inputs for regional primary logistics performance reporting.

What are the core decisions that this role will be accountable for?

¢ Execution decisions related to factorylevel primary logistics coordination across the region.

¢ Selection of appropriate execution actions to resolve primary logistics delivery or handover issues within defined priorities.

¢ Escalation of factoryrelated primary logistics risks or constraints to the Primary Logistics Lead Region (IBH).
