We are seeking a highly organised, proactive, and detail-oriented Transport Scheduler to join our growing logistics operations team at Wobbi Logix.

This is a fast-paced operational role requiring exceptional attention to detail, advanced Microsoft Excel skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and the ability to manage multiple transport schedules and priorities simultaneously.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating daily transport schedules, managing bookings, allocating transport resources, maintaining accurate operational records, and ensuring the efficient movement of freight across our transport network.

We are looking for someone who is highly analytical, confident working with large volumes of data, and capable of identifying scheduling discrepancies before they impact operations.

This position requires flexibility to work rotating shifts, including day, evening, night, weekends, and public holidays as required by our 24/7 operations.

Key Responsibilities

Transport Scheduling & Coordination

- Plan, coordinate, and manage daily transport schedules across multiple locations and transport routes.
- Allocate drivers, vehicles, and transport resources efficiently to meet operational requirements.
- Monitor transport schedules, identify potential conflicts, and make adjustments to minimise delays.
- Coordinate transport bookings, pickups, deliveries, and schedule changes.
- Communicate scheduling updates and operational requirements to drivers, carriers,



customers, and internal teams.

Advanced Excel & Data Management
- Utilise Microsoft Excel extensively to manage transport schedules, operational data, and reporting.
- Maintain accurate spreadsheets, scheduling trackers, and transport allocation records.
- Demonstrate advanced Excel capabilities, including XLOOKUP, VLOOKUP, PivotTables, conditional formatting, complex formulas, and data validation.
- Analyse large datasets to identify discrepancies, scheduling conflicts, and operational inefficiencies.
- Prepare daily and weekly operational reports with a high level of accuracy.
- Ensure data integrity and consistency across all scheduling systems and spreadsheets.

Administration & Operational Support
- Maintain accurate transport records, bookings, and operational documentation.
- Perform detailed data entry, cross-check information, and ensure records are updated in real time.
- Assist with transport-related administrative tasks and operational reporting.
- Monitor and respond to operational emails, scheduling requests, and urgent changes.
- Support the wider logistics operations and customer service teams when required.

Communication & Problem-Solving
- Liaise professionally with drivers, carriers, customers, and internal stakeholders.
- Respond promptly to scheduling issues, delays, and operational escalations.
- Proactively identify potential problems and implement practical solutions.




- Maintain explicit and accurate communication during shift handovers to ensure operational continuity.

Essential Requirements

- Previous experience in transport scheduling, transport coordination, or logistics operations is essential.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are mandatory.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy are essential.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise competing deadlines, and work under pressure.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Experience managing complex schedules, spreadsheets, and large volumes of operational data.
- High level of computer literacy and ability to quickly learn new transport management systems.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team.
- Proactive attitude with a strong sense of accountability and ownership.
- Must be available to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.

Highly Regarded

- Experience in Australian road transport, linehaul, or interstate logistics operations.
- Experience coordinating multiple drivers, carriers, and transport movements.
- Familiarity with Transport Management Systems (TMS).
- Experience preparing operational reports and analysing transport performance data.
- Understanding of Australian transport operations and scheduling requirements.

This is a rotating-shift position supporting a 24/7 logistics operation.

The successful candidate must be flexible with working hours and comfortable managing transport scheduling responsibilities across different shifts.
