Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Logistics Sr. Executive/ Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience in logistics operations, with a strong background in transport management systems/ fleet management / control tower operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing our logistics operations, ensuring effective vehicle utilization, and utilizing advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee the daily logistics operations, ensuring smooth and efficient transportation, and vehicle uptime.

- Manage and optimize the Transport Management System (TMS) for route planning, scheduling, and tracking of shipments.

- Lead and supervise fleet management activities, ensuring proper maintenance, compliance, and efficiency of vehicles.

- Coordinate and manage control tower operations to provide real-time visibility and proactive management of logistics and transportation activities.

- Develop and implement logistics strategies to improve milage efficiency, trip turns, reduce vehicle downtimes, and enhance productivity levels.

- Analyze data using advanced Excel skills, including creating dashboards, reports, and metrics to track performance and identify areas for improvement.

- Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and third-party logistics providers to ensure smooth and time-effective transportation solutions.





- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.

- Troubleshoot operational issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to maintain operational excellence.

- Continuously monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and propose enhancements to improve efficiency and productivity in the logistics function.

Qualifications:

- 7+ years of experience in logistics operations or Transport operations.

- Strong understanding and experience with Transport Management Systems (TMS), fleet management, and control tower operations.

- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookups, macros, etc.) for data analysis, reporting, and performance tracking.

- Proven experience in managing logistics operations and optimizing transportation processes.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Solid communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

- Knowledge of industry regulations, safety standards, and best practices in logistics.

- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field preferred.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems. Like TMS or FMS (Preferably Fleetx,or Pando)

- Familiarity with Power BI or Excellent with Excel dashboard creation.
