- Manage the day-to-day functioning of the school library.

- Maintain and organize books, periodicals, and other learning resources.

- Assist students and teachers in locating appropriate books and resources.

- Maintain records of book issues, returns, and new acquisitions.

- Encourage students to develop regular reading habits.

- Ensure the library is clean, organized, and welcoming.

- Support library activities, reading programmes, and book-related events.

- Monitor proper use and care of library resources.

Requirements

- Graduate degree in Library Science / Information Science preferred.

- Prior experience in a school library is an advantage.

- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

- Comfortable working with children and school staff.

- Basic computer skills and familiarity with library management systems.

- Organized, responsible, and approachable.

- Ability to work independently during part time hours.
