We are looking for an experienced Senior Legal Advisor with a minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience handling both Litigation and Non-Litigation matters. The ideal candidate will oversee all legal risk management, handle complex real estate title due diligence, manage corporate litigation and dispute resolution, ensure MahaRERA compliance, and draft/review commercial contracts.

Key Responsibilities

1. Non-Litigation & Real Estate Legal Operations

- Title Search & Due Diligence: Conduct end-to-end title verification, land acquisition due diligence, micro-search reports, and title search for real estate properties across Mumbai/Maharashtra.
- Drafting & Vetting: Prepare, review, and finalize all legal and commercial documentation, including: Agreements for Sale (AFS), Conveyance Deeds, Development Agreements (DA), Power of Attorneys (POA).

- Joint Venture (JV) & Joint Development Agreements (JDA).
- Commercial Lease Agreements, Franchise Agreements, Vendor Contracts, and License Agreements.
- Regulatory & Statutory Compliance:
- Ensure full compliance with MahaRERA regulations, filings, and consumer disclosures.
- Work closely with municipal authorities (MCGM/BMC), SRA, MHADA, Revenue, and Land Registration departments.

1. Litigation & • Dispute Resolution





- Court Proceedings & • Strategy:

Manage all ongoing litigation, arbitration, and dispute resolution matters across High Court, City Civil Courts, NCLT, Consumer Fora, MahaRERA Authority, and Revenue Courts.
- Notice & • Response Management:

Draft legal notices, rejoinders, plaints, written statements, affidavits, and appeals.
- External Counsel Liaison: Work closely with advocate firms, senior counsel, and solicitors; prepare case briefings and track litigation outcomes.

Candidate Profile & • Requirements
- Qualification: Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) or Master of Laws (LL.M.) from a recognized university.
- Experience: Minimum 8+ years of core legal experience, preferably within the Real Estate, Construction, or Infrastructure sector.
- Litigation Expertise: Robust background in civil litigation, land disputes, arbitration, and consumer matters.
- Non-Litigation Expertise: Deep understanding of Maharashtra property laws (Registration Act, Transfer of Property Act, MOFA, MahaRERA).
- Key Skills: Excellent legal drafting, strong negotiation skills, analytical thinking, and effective court briefing ability.
- Languages: Fluent in English and Hindi.
