We are seeking an IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) Developer to help design, build, and maintain enterprise planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting solutions supporting Wiley's Global Planning System and journal title accounting.

You'll build hands-on technical skills in TM1/Planning Analytics while developing a working understanding of financial and operational planning processes, partnering closely with Finance, FP&A;, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable, well-performing models.

Key responsibilities

Build and maintain IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) models, including cubes, dimensions, rules, and feeders.

Build and optimize TurboIntegrator (TI) processes for data loading, transformation, and system integration or automation.

Develop planning and reporting front ends using Planning Analytics for Excel (PAfE) and TM1 Web where required.

Implement business logic for budgeting, forecasting, allocations, and consolidations through rules and TI.

Tune model performance—rules vs. feeders, MTQ, memory usage, and cube optimization—and troubleshoot slow queries or calculations.

Integrate Planning Analytics with source systems, such as ERP, GL, and cloud-based data warehouses, using ODBC, flat files,



or ETL tools.

Provide production support, troubleshoot issues, and manage deployments across DEV/TEST/PROD environments.

Collaborate with FP&A; and finance teams to support monthly close, planning cycles, and ad-hoc analysis.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

2+ years of hands-on experience building TM1/IBM Planning Analytics models and reports, including cubes, dimensions, rules, and feeders.

Strong SQL skills, with experience in data extraction and transformation.

Solid understanding of multidimensional (OLAP) modeling and data warehousing concepts.

Positive understanding of financial planning processes: budgeting, forecasting, allocations, and reporting.

Preferred Qualifications

Working knowledge of Python for data processing or automation.

Experience with Google BigQuery, including creating data pipelines.

Experience building and scheduling data pipelines, such as with Airflow.

Experience building and troubleshooting Power BI dashboards.
