We are looking for a Senior Test Automation Engineer with 6+ years of experience specializing in web automation using Playwright alongside strong Manual Testing expertise. In this role, your primary responsibility will be driving web UI and API automation, while conducting robust manual, functional, and exploratory testing. Additionally, you will support the team with secondary capabilities in ETL testing and data validation to ensure end-to-end application quality.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Playwright Automation: Design, develop, and maintain scalable, robust automated test frameworks using Playwright.

Execute Manual & Exploratory Testing: Perform thorough manual functional, regression, integration, and system testing for complex web applications.

Support ETL & Data Validation: Validate data pipelines, source-to-target mapping, data integrity, and perform database verification as a secondary function.

Test Strategy & Planning: Review business requirements to prepare comprehensive test strategies, test scenarios, test cases, and automation plans.

API Testing: Automate and manually validate REST APIs and backend services.

Defect Management: Identify, isolate, troubleshoot, and report defects with detailed evidence,



collaborating closely with developers and product teams.

CI/CD Integration: Integrate Playwright automation suites into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.

Mentorship & Quality Advocacy: Champion QA best practices, mentor junior engineers, and continuously improve overall test coverage.

Required Skills

6+ years of experience in software QA, spanning both automated and manual testing environments.

Primary: Playwright Automation: Strong, hands-on experience building automation frameworks from scratch using Playwright.

Primary: Manual Testing Expertise: Exceptional skills in test case design, exploratory testing, regression analysis, and defect lifecycle management.

Primary: Language Proficiency: Robust programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript or Python.

Secondary: ETL & Database Testing: Solid understanding of ETL concepts, data warehousing, and experience writing complex SQL queries for data validation.

API Testing: Proven experience testing and automating REST APIs.

Tools & DevOps: Proficiency with Git and CI/CD platforms like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.

Agile Processes: Deep understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies,
