Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead ServiceNow ITSM Developer / Solution Architect with 5 to 7 years of experience to drive the technical design and delivery of our IT Service Management ecosystem. In this role, you will bridge the gap between business requirements and technical execution, designing scalable, high-performance solutions that automate workflows and minimize platform technical debt. This position requires a strong technical lead who can comfortably shift between hands-on customization (GlideScript, Flow Designer, Integrations) and implementing platform governance to ensure upgrade readiness.

Core Responsibilities

Solution Design & Architecture: Translate complex business requirements into robust technical designs across core ITSM modules (Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge, and Service Desk).

Platform Development & Customization: Design and develop advanced client scripts, business rules, UI actions, Script Includes, and complex workflows using Flow Designer and Workflow Editor.

Integration Engineering: Architect, build, and maintain secure integrations between ServiceNow and third-party systems using REST/SOAP APIs,



IntegrationHub, and MID Server configurations.

CSDM & Data Governance: Implement and align ITSM workflows with Common Service Data Model (CSDM) standards to ensure data integrity, service-aware relationships, and accurate impact analysis.

Upgrade & Patch Management: Support platform administration by managing application configurations, code reviews, technical documentation, and remediation tracking during system upgrades and patching cycles.

Technical Team Leadership: Act as a technical mentor for junior developers and administrators, enforcing coding standards, development best practices, and secure development protocols.

Job Requirements

Technical Skills

5–7 years of dedicated, hands-on experience developing and configuring the ServiceNow platform, with a minimum of 3 years focused heavily on the ITSM suite.

Advanced mastery of JavaScript (GlideScript APIs), HTML, CSS, and modern platform development tools; knowledge of AngularJS for Service Portal design is a solid plus.
