Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer with a solid background in Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) and a focus on API automation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products.

Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain automated test scripts for API testing using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
- Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements and create comprehensive test plans.
- Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects and areas for improvement.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality aspects of the code.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance overall product quality.
- Document test cases, test results, and defects in a clear and concise manner.




- Mentor junior QA team members in automation best practices and tools.

Mandatory Skills

- Strong experience in API automation testing.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools like Selenium, Postman, or RestAssured.
- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and frameworks.

Preferred Skills

- Familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
- Knowledge of cloud services and microservices architecture.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in QA automation with a focus on API testing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
