Python Robot Framework Tester

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Python Robot Framework Tester to join our consultancy team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Python programming and extensive experience in test automation using the Robot Framework. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can analyze requirements, design test cases, and ensure the quality of software products through effective testing strategies.

Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python and Robot Framework.
- Analyze project requirements and create comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Execute test cases, document results, and report defects in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand application functionality and provide feedback on quality issues.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes.




- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior testers in the team.
- Stay updated with the latest testing tools and methodologies.

Mandatory Skills

- Proficient in Python programming.
- Extensive experience with Robot Framework for test automation.
- Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
- Experience in writing and executing test cases and test scripts.
- Ability to analyze complex requirements and translate them into test scenarios.

Preferred Skills

- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices.
- Experience with other testing frameworks and tools.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Relevant certifications in software testing are a plus.
