Documentation: Author comprehensive artifacts including Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), and detailed User Stories with explicit acceptance criteria.

Process Optimization: Analyze "As-Is" workflows to identify inefficiencies and design "To-Be" optimized processes using BPMN or similar modeling techniques

Backlog Management: Define and prioritize product features based on business value, managing a healthy product backlog in Agile environments.

Data Analysis & Reporting: Utilize SQL to analyze datasets, extract insights, and create reports or dashboards to support data-driven decision-making.

Stakeholder Management: Facilitate communication across cross-functional teams (Engineering, QA, Product) and senior leadership to align project scope with strategic goals.

Testing & Validation: Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by defining test scenarios, creating scripts,



and coordinating with QA teams to validate that solutions meet business needs.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience: Typically 6–10+ years of proven experience in business analysis within IT or software development environments.

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.

Methodologies: Expert proficiency in Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and Waterfall SDLC frameworks.

Technical Proficiency

Management Tools: JIRA, Confluence, etc

Modeling Tools: MS Visio, Lucidchart, Miro, or Figma.

Data Tools: Strong SQL skills for data validation and basic cloud concept fluency

Soft Skills: Exceptional analytical thinking, proactive problem-solving, and the ability to translate "tech-speak" into business value.

Certifications (Preferred): CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional), PMI-PBA, or Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO).
